Perfect tranquillity for Caravan and Motorhome Club members

Pub and Certified Location Site together, you could be forgiven for thinking it might not be the quietist CL site, but you couldn’t be further from the truth. The five-van site is a hidden gem offering picturesque solitude away from the stresses of normal life.

The five pitches are surrounded by a variety of mature trees and back onto open fields. If you find wildlife interesting be sure to have your binoculars.

Access to the site is good via a private drive adjacent to the pub, suitable for twin axle caravans and similar sized motorhomes.

Facilities are a little limited and include: hard standing, 16 amp electric hook up, drinking water, chemical waste point and waste disposal. The site doesn’t have toilets or showers, but members can use the toilets located inside the pub during opening hours, typical opening hours are 12-3pm and 6 -10 pm, we are closed on Monday and Tuesday lunchtimes.

There is no emptying point for motorhomes, a fresh water feed reaches the pub car park for those needing to fill tanks.

Dogs are most welcome but must be kept on leads at all times. There are many country walks from the site and we have maps available. Neighbouring village Peasenhall village is less than a fifteen minute walk; here you will find a post office/general stores, deli and tearoom.

The pub has achieved many accolades for its food but still remains a proper pub where you feel welcome just having a drink. For those wanting to eat it’s most advisable to book in advance particularly at busy times.

Only members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club are eligible to use the CL site and pitches must be booked in advance. The site is open all year, please note the pub is closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. We currently charge £20 per night (deposit may be required) inclusive of electricity and any awnings. Time to roll off by is 12 noon, time to arrive any time after 12 noon.
