The weather this weekend might look mixed but we won’t let that dampen our spirits and the fun goes on with our regular ‘BBQ Friday’ and the second of our ‘Music Sundays’. New to our barbies then should it rain we will keep you dry with several covered terraces. Off the BBQ tonight we have delicious homemade rump steak burgers, spicy chicken, tuna or swordfish steaks and of course a vegetarian option – add a choice of potato and a lovely fresh salad picked from our own garden and for sure you won’t go home hungry. We look forward to seeing regulars and first timers from 6.30.
With sunnier weather forecast for Sunday (18 Aug) come on down and join us in the courtyard for our second ‘Music Sunday’. This week the live music is provided by ‘Otter’s Pocket’. With villager Pete (Mabbs) on the drums, the five piece band are sure to get your feet tapping with, if not dancing, with a good range of Soul and Blues covers. Otter’s Pocket will be on stage for a good two hours from 2.30, during which time the renowned SWH BBQ will be sizzling with a range of tasty favorites. Free admission, all welcome, see you Sunday.
