With Christmas getting ever closer, our chefs have been busy creating an exciting feast for the festive period.
This Christmas we’ve stayed away from the usual 2/3 course party style menu, instead we’ve opted for a more tempting A La Carte menu, a menu sure to challenge your taste buds and provide difficulty when deciding. During challenging times, we felt best to focus on one menu, produce the best possible food, the food our clients have come to expect.
The menu allows for a greater range, vegetarians get better value, smaller appetites can have one course if desired and we’ve made room for that good old favourite, fish and chips. For vegans, we are very happy to discuss and cater for upon request.
There is so much to love about our traditional English pub at Christmas time: flickering flames, smells of mulled spices, magical decorations and of course some of the best indulging food. Whether you’re looking for an intimate meal for two, a team lunch or an evening with family and friends we have some lovely seasonal dishes to tempt you. The dining room can become private with one large round table, perfect for parties of 13 to 16. Equally the raised gallery, adjacent to the bar is most suitable for parties up to 12 persons.
Our December Festive menu is available for lunch Wednesday to Saturday and dinner Tuesday to Saturday from December 1st to December 23rd. For parties of 7 or more a non-refundable £10 deposit is required per person at the time of booking and a pre-order is required 7 days prior to reservation. For parties more than ten persons, we may need to reduce the menu choices, but would be happy to discuss your preferred choices.
