Jubilee Sunday – 5th June

Celebrate The Queens Platinum Jubilee at SWH with Live Music and BBQ.

Live music makes a return to the Sibton White Horse on Sunday 5th June when we will be celebrating Her Majesty The Queens Platinum Jubilee.

Jubilee Sunday kicks off at 2pm when Local band ‘Causeway’ are the first of two bands to take the stage. Pete, Mike S and Mike T have sank many pints  in the SWH bar whilst sorting out their play list. Causeway are sure to  entertainer  with their renditions of many popular favourites. It’s likely to be an emotional moment, it will be the bands first performance since the passing of fellow inspirational band member Carl Thurston.

If Soul and Blues (and other covers) rocks your boat then you will be in the right place at 4pm. ‘Otters Pocket’ are a 6 piece band from around Halesworth and are the life and soul of any celebration. The band is very much in demand and has built a good following around East Anglia. Think of ‘Hit The Road Jack’ and ‘You Can Leave Your Hat On’ and you have music fit for a Queen.

Whilst hopefully soaking up the sunshine, the afternoon will be complete with some scrumptious food from our BBQ. Renowned for our BBQ meals throughout the summer, there will homemade burgers, shredded duck leg kebabs, spiced chicken and a vegetarian option. All available with frites and various salads. BBQ will be available from 2pm.
